B.E. Connected. B.E. Represented. Bruce Easop for President.
Thank you so much to everyone who supported me or my campaign over the past few weeks. It will be an absolute honor to serve as USG President. I would not be in this position without the inspiration of every single student on this campus because the commitment, creativity, and all-around awesomeness of every person I have met here is what motivates me to dedicate my time to USG. Here's to an incredible year ahead!!
The Role of USG
I believe that USG is about feeling connected. To other students. To the administration. To your representatives.
Let's Connect Students--with peer-to-peer advising, productive course reviews, community building events, and more!
Let's Connect with Faculty/Administrators--with a Faculty Advising Network and effective Communication using my experience Co-Chairing the Implementation Group on Freshman Orientation with Dean Dunne!
Let's Connect with Your Representatives--with access for every student to the USG members who lead projects that impact your life!

Hey Tigers,The rest of this site is about my platform, my experience, and my vision for USG, but here I’d rather tell you a bit about why I am running for USG President.
Call me naïve or unrealistic, and you’ll probably call me both, but I really believe in what the USG can accomplish in the next year. And that belief is what motivates me to work for the student body on USG. I stay up nights copying down notes from meetings with administrators because I know my work is about more than just me. It’s about building an organization that will get stronger even after I graduate. I wander around the campus over the summer trying to find just the right door to photograph for Princeton2015.com because I care about the end result and I’m not going to stop until my projects are just right. Serving as USG President is a tough job and I know that, but I also know that just like anything else at Princeton, it’s a lot easier to succeed when there’s nothing else you would rather do. And for me, that’s how I feel about USG. To me, USG should remember that we are a student group just like everyone else. So why do we only gather student input once a semester? Plus, if Princeton at its core is an academic institution, why don’t we ensure that our academic resources, from advising to course selection, actually answer our questions? And if pressure or stress on campus is a significant obstacle for many people, why don’t we tackle it head on like in the Mental Health Initiative I’m leading this semester? I’m a firm believer that to get the right answers, you have to ask the right questions. But like FDR once said, it’s best to “Be sincere; be brief; and be seated” so I’ll take his advice.
